What is the biology of this particular population? What are the causes of the population decline? What is being done to protect this population? What is the basis for the belief that female sea turtles return to their natal beach to lay their eggs? What is the basis for the belief that females return to the same beach each nesting season? Where can these adult loggerheads be found during the non-nesting part of the year? |

This book should be read by everyone, it really should be taught in schools. This book reads like a mystery novel and provides the information of science textbook. It explains the scientific method in a way that no textbook I've ever encountered is able to do. There is no overwhelming blame in this book, merely truth. Fire in the Turtle House is the first book I can truly say I am passionate about; it has changed my life and put me in a new direction. Thank you Osha for this gift. |
