Description:

Amigos de las Trotugas Marinas ATMAR is an NGO based in southeast Puerto Rico. Dedicated to conservation of leatherback, hawksbill and green turtles and their habitat. Objectives:
1. Discourage looting of nests and killing of nesting females
2. Provide community education on sea turtles and nesting activity
3.Document all relevant data that can be used to asses sea turtle population trends, status and threats.
