Leatherback, Playa Grande, Arecibo in Puerto Rico

This Leatherback was found nesting in the morning. Playa Grande in Arecibo is one of the beaches with higher nesting density in the north shore of Puerto Rico. From March 13 to April 30 in a 2 km beach, we have documented over 25 leatherback nests.
