Camellia, a juvenile Bald Eagle fledged from a nest at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, Virginia, USA

This eagle is one of three young eagles fledged from the Bald Eagle nest at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens in spring 2010. The nest has a webcam and a strong following of human nest watchers and admirers. This eagle will be tracked with satellite telemetry for the next 3+ years to better understand how non-breeding eagles use the lower Chesapeake Bay and Tidewater region of Virginia.
