We are currently studying the conservation of the sea turtle Chelonia mydas on the south coast of West Java. The study seeks to define population parameters and breeding potential. We also want to rear the baby turtles until they reach an adequate size to be released to the sea. Any information on the design of the rearing ponds and the feeding of the baby turtles would be very helpful for us as we develop this programme.
