The Caribbean Conservation Corporation in Gainesville, Florida, is offering a two-week International Short Course for Marine Turtle Management and Conservation at its Green Turtle Research Station in Tortuguero, Costa Rica, during late August or early September 1990. The Instructor will be Dr. Anne Meylan (assisted by Patricia Castaneda). We are seeking applicants; preference is given to resource managers (e.g., fisheries, protected areas, coastal and marine resources) and biologists from developing countries. Applicants should be conversant in English or Spanish. Course costs are approximately US$ 840 (excludes international airfare). Fellowship possibilities exist. Interested persons should inquire to:
