The 17th Annual Symposium on Sea Turtle Biology and Conservation will convene on 4-8 March 1997 at the Delta Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida, USA. This year's Symposium will be hosted by University of Central Florida, the Archie Carr Center for Sea Turtle Research (University of Florida), Florida Atlantic University, Mote Marine Laboratory, and Comité Nacional para la Protección y Conservación de las Tortugas Marinas (México).
Symposium registration will begin Tuesday, 4 March. Symposium sessions will be scheduled on 5-7 March. Saturday, 8 March will be devoted to special meetings and workshops. The Symposium Announcement and Call for Papers have been mailed to 1996 registered participants.
