North Carolina WRC Sea Turtle Project

Kure Beach is located on Pleasure Island, south of Wilmington, and is part of the Pleasure Island Sea Turtle Project. Volunteers with the Kure Beach Turtle Project have been monitoring and protecting sea turtle nests on Pleasure Island since 1989
