North Carolina WRC Sea Turtle Project

Fort Fisher State Recreation Area is located on the eastern side of the Cape Fear River basin, just north of Bald Head Island. Park Rangers in Fort Fisher have been monitoring and protecting sea turtles and their nests since 1985, along ~12 km of ocean beach.
