Rachel (Loggerhead) is 18 km N of the coast of Mexico and 172 km from Merida

Background

Rachel is a newly tagged female loggerhead, measures 96.3 cm curved carapace length notch-tip. Keratin and skin biopsy samples will go to genetics, stable isotopes, and trace metal analyses.
