Background

Maramba is an adult female flatback turtle and deposited a clutch of eggs on Murrungga Island on June 24th 2014. She weight 62 kg and had a CCL of 87 cm. She was released with a go-pro camera to shoot footage of the first part of her journey back to her foraging habitat. She has been transmitting her position for nearly a full year.
