Background

This juvenile green turtle was found floating in the southern end of St. Joseph Bay in Gulf County, Florida. Water temperatures had reached below normal and caused this turtle to be stunned by the cold water. This turtle was taken to GulfWorld, a rehabilitation facility in northwest Florida and released into the Gulf of Mexico several days later.
