Gabon 2005-07: Mayumba, Leatherback Turtles

Sirtrack satellite transmitter to record her internesting movements.
Some 9-10 days after nesting at Bame, Nellie nested in the Congo. She
nested again north of Bame where her harness and transmitter were
removed. Nellie provided crucial information, showing that leatherback
turtles nesting at Mayumba may move several hundred kilometers north or
south of each nesting site and may move 50-60 km from the shore.
