Background

This turtle was captured on a Uruguayan pelagic longline vessel operating in the SW Atlantic within Uruguayan waters. D'Artagnan was hooked in the flipper. A PNOFA scientific observer removed the hook and released the turtle in good condition. D'Artagnan was named by a fisherman and measured 56 cm CCL x 56 cm CCW.
