Introduction
The island of Mayotte in the South-West Indian Ocean hosts a large number of nesting green turtles, that are monitored in their nesting activity thanks to a local conservation project. The 2005 satellite tracking project is a follow-up of a similar project run in 2004 and aims at investigating the postnesting migration of turtles nesting at Saziley Beach, one of the main nesting site of the island.
