Found by a beachgoer at Mandurah in August 2017, Mandy was admitted to Perth Zoo before being sent to the Bunbury Dolphin Discovery Centre for rehabilitation.
Mandy was quite alert and able to dive a little, but her buoyancy was definitely a problem. Mandy responded well to the care and by the end of September was able to rest on the substrate.
She was always a high class lady, as her food preference was always prawn rather than fish or squid.
Admission weight was 163grams and carapace length was8.6cm
