Colleagues working in the field of sea turtle biology and conservation will be aware that there are frequent appeals for information and assistance with the treatment, rehabilitation and release of captured or injured marine turtles. Often it is difficult to know who to turn to for advice, especially when the need is urgent.

The Marine Turtle Research Group, and seaturtle.org host an online database of contact information for organizations involved with rescue, treatment and rehabilitation of marine turtles. This will act as a focal point to which individuals/organisations in need of assistance can be referred to source veterinary or animal husbandry advice.
