Ascension Island

Since 1998, the MTRG have been working with local people on Ascension Island to carry out marine turtle research, education and conservation activities. This work was initially funded by the UK Government's Darwin Initiative and more recently has been supported by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Environmental Fund for the Overseas Territories.
