The idea for this podcast was lifted entirely from Leo Laporte and the TWiTs and their GREAT show, This Week in Tech. I am a big fan guys, I hope you don't mind!

We aren't entirely sure where this will go, but we hope it will stimulate discussion and inform and educate the sea turtle community. It also gives the geeks another outlet!   This topic has turned out to be particularly, well, topical. Just yesterday afternoon news hit the wire that a beach renourishment project in Florida had been shut down for killing too many turtles. Since then lots of news outlets have been picking up the story.
